Andreas Levers
Andreas Levers is a German photographer who specialises in architectual photography. He captures an incredible atmosphere by photographing light in the mist and fog. He focuses on capturing the texture of surfaces and uses leading lines, diagonals and symmetry to do this. I like the mysterious aura he creates and here are some of his images that I particularly like.
9 Shots
9 Shots manages to photograph ordinary people who look emotionally exhausted, surprised or isolated in some way or another. Most of his images are in black and white or slightly underexposed, making them look greyer then they would in real life. This helps emphasise the gloomy nature captured and this represents the hidden pain we all feel. I like 9 shots because I feel like this is a powerful way to illustrate this pain and I look forward to trying to replicate these photographs
